Stainless Steel Pots and Pans – Set the Look of Your Kitchen

Pots and pans of stainless steel are so beautiful, don’t you think? The wonderful invention of stainless steel pots and pans added to the fantastic look of professional home kitchen equipment, if you ask me. Even if you can’t boil water, you will look fantastic when surrounded by stainless steel! *grin*

These are handy to use. They look great. They are heavy. Because they are heavy with heavy, thick bottoms, they distribute heat evenly across the total base of the pan. This means the liquids or foods cooking inside the pan are evenly heated. You do not have a hot spot or a cool spot on the pan.

Stainless steel pots and pans can come with the option of wonderful glass lids. The glass lid saves electricity and gas. Through the glass lid you can easily see how the food is cooking. Stainless steel pots and pans are easy to clean. After cooking, if you just fill them with water, they will soak clean in just 10 minutes or so.  If something got really burnt on, they may need a second soaking to come clean.

If you need to do heavy duty cleaning, a bit of steel wool with solve the problem quickly without damaging the pots and pans.  The bottoms of the pots and pans are easy to clean, also.  This is great for the solid top ranges.

Because these wonderful pots and pans are 100 per cent stainless steel, there is no other material that can enter our bodies through the food preparation process.  To protect ourselves and our health, these are highly recommended by many health professionals.

The real benefit of stainless steel pots and pans is that they last and last.  When you purchase one of these, or a set of these, you are making an investment.  This is the last set of cookware you will ever buy.

Before you spend your money, be sure to check the guage of the steel cookware.  Some of the cookware is lighter that others.  The heavier cookware will last longer and give better heat distribution during cooking.
