Jack Lalanne Power Juicer for Juicing Pros

Jack Lalanne, the king of healthy eating and power juicers, is a health icon. Did you know he was born in 1914?  He still looks fantastic!

Jack Lalane was one of the names I heard early on. Only later did I hear of Dr. Day.

I remember being told the incredible story of Dr. Lorraine Day as told to me, who had developed a grapefruit-sized cancerous tumor on her chest.

Her colleagues’ prognosis for her wasn’t good. Even though she was a surgeon, she didn’t want to undergo chemotherapy and opted, instead, to find her own path. Her path eventually included juicing major quantities of fresh fruits and vegetables. It is said that her tumor did, in fact, shrink to something the size of a grape, which was easily excised and she has been in remission ever since. I was impressed with Dr. Day’s story and vowed that I could do better things for myself.

Even folks who are relatively healthy have occasional bad habits to break and good ones needed to take up. Our diet is usually included among these. If it didn’t fall into the caffeine or sugar “food groups,” it probably wasn’t something we readily consumed. *Grin*

It can take a couple years, but one can learn to love better eating.

Discovering the value of a good kitchen juicer helps with the quest for health.

Sometimes we are lucky enough to get a juicer as a gift.  My mom gave me my first juicer. She knew I was trying to eat more healthfully and that I hadn’t sprung the money to make any such investments yet.

It was one of those gifts you get as a grown up where you feign loving it. I mimicked enthusiasm and secretly wished to be a kid again and open something cool. Later, I reminded myself of my goal to do better for myself and opened the box, vowing to make good use of such a thoughtful gift.  I grew to hate that juicer. It was messy and way too much work. It seemed that most of the material was stuck in the refuse container and got thrown away. I thought it was wasteful, but, mostly, it was a pain.

I realize now, a couple years later, that I was throwing out the baby with the bath water. The pulp is the best stuff.

I just had the wrong juicer, not the wrong idea about what I needed to do to take better care of myself.

Now, I realize that what you spend on an item really does make a huge difference. I’ll be honest. When I did look at juicers, I usually went for the cheapest one. You really do get what you pay for.

The Jack Lalanne Power Juicer Pro is available to come to the rescue.

The beauty of this juicer is that it doesn’t cause waste. No need to be spending all your time cutting up fruits and vegetables. We can put the whole thing in and it gets pulverized. Plus, there is less waste.

Here is how it works. When you have a more powerful motor, you’re able to pulverize everything without leaving extra material behind. So, all the fiber and pulp we’ve been throwing away for years is now ours to consume.

The cheap juicer I first had was, truly, wasting my money in the long run. Plus, I understand that the good stuff, that fiber, for instance, is thrown out precisely because it’s not able to be turned into juice with the cheaper juicer. Pretty silly on my part. Better to have a masticating juicer in the kitchen equipment pantry.

I’m now totally partial to fresh fruit juices. But, in addition, I also now feel like I am doing myself a world of good.  Thank you, Jack Lalanne I’m now totally partial to fresh fruit juices.
