Electric Coffee Makers Keep Life Percolating Along!

Virtually every kitchen in America has some type of an everyday electric coffeemaker. What would life be like without a cup of hazelnut coffee, coffee with cream and sugar, black coffee, or decaf? So engrained in our culture is this beverage, that we have our own kooky terms for it, like “cup of joe” (after Navy Admiral Josephus Daniels left sailors with only java, after disallowing wine).

Since at least the 15th century, everyone in need of that extra buzz in the morning to help them get through the rest of the day has relied on coffee. Nothing is more helpful than coffee! Over 50% of American adults drink coffee every day, and statistics say that coffee drinkers usually intake 3.2 cups of coffee per day. Coffee shops even make at least $12 billion annually, maybe more now that coffee bistros like Starbucks are all the rage.

When you roll out of bed, you certainly aren’t fit to head over to the nearest coffee place, so it’s best if you have electric coffee makers around your house. There are different kinds of electric coffee makers, so you have to think carefully which kind would best suit you. Ask yourself what sort of coffee drinker you are, and you might be able to figure out the coffee maker for you.

First up are the electric drip coffee makers, like the Mr. Coffee machine, called dripolators. First you put your desired coffee beans in a basket and cover it with a filter. Then, after pouring water into the coffee maker’s reservoir, you turn the coffee maker on. The machine will then heat the water and slowly tip the water into the basket of coffee beans. After this, the coffee liquid will drip down into your coffee pot, and you’ve got your coffee, simple and easy.

Another kind of coffee making device is one which has a thermal carafe. A thermal carafe is the perfect container for hot coffee. These maintain the heat of the brewed coffee even after a long time. Notice how, after some time, your coffee will taste terrible if you leave it there for longer than ten minutes? With a thermal carafe, you won’t have to worry about that. You’ll be able to keep your good-tasting coffee around even for a time—but don’t expect it to last all afternoon.

Finally, there are single cup coffee pot units. These are a favorite among people who only really drink one cup of coffee every morning. After all, why brew an entire pot when you’re only going to drink a single cup? These coffee makers help you save money, coffee beans and time. So if you’re one of the people who only need just a cup a day to get through, then I suggest you invest in this one.

Certain coffee machines work better for certain kinds of people, so choose wisely. As long as you think it can satisfy your caffeine needs for the rest of the day, any electric coffee maker should do.

Who makes coffeemakers? All the notable small countertop appliance manufacturers. You’ll find Keurig, Cuisinart, Gevalia, Krups, Melitta, Bosch, and cool store brands from all your favorite online stores. They are so affordable generally, that you do not have to sweat your decision about buying am electric coffee maker for the kitchen.
